Caregiver course Singapore – Caring, or being a ‘care worker,’ ‘caregiver,’ ‘carer,’ or ‘home health aide,’ is another term for caregiving. In essence, it is attending to an elderly or handicapped person’s daily requirements, such as ensuring that they are fed, washed, take their medications, and have some social engagement. The need for caretakers has risen as populations, particularly in Western nations, age and individuals live longer than ever before. A caregiver usually stays with their client or patient in their home or helps family throughout the day. Working as a live-in caregiver pays better, but it’s also more stressful and lonely.
As a result, looking after yourself is equally as vital as looking after your customer. Practical seminars on how to monitor your stress levels and manage psychologically have been added. The class aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to assist the elderly in their daily activities of living.
